Family #2

Here it is. My photo for the week of my family :)

Sidewalk chalking it up.

Mouth full of chalk.

Attempting "lady like" behavior.

Coralling the monsters.

Preparing dinner.

Good times :)

Scrub a Dub Dub

Lily and Addison end up taking baths together all the time.  It's not because I force them to, au contraire.

I attempt to bathe them seperately most of the time, but as soon as they hear the water running I've got two naked children standing infront of me demanding bubbles, water and splashing.

It's pretty amusing.

They're both pretty content in the bath.

Addison with her favorite bath toy shoved as far into her mouth as possible.

Lily hoarding the rest of the bath toys.

Recently, they've started being interested in the actual bath process though.

Addison really loves to play with Lily's hair and get it all soapy.

Lily's really wonderful about the whole thing as well.  Addison isn't always the most gentle shampooer.

I'm pretty sure Addison hit her at least 8 times in this process.

Once Addison's done mauling her sister she starts to run her fingers through her own hair.

Lily asks her if she's ready.

"Are you ready chunky butt?!"

"Are you ready Boo Boo Bear?!"

"Are you ready Chunky Monkey Boo Boo Bear?!"

"Are you ready Chunkey Booby Monkey Wunky Boo Bear Butt?!"

Hey, I'm just being honest in the name calling.

Lily does a decent job of staying on her head with the soap.

Every once in a great while I have to remind her that the soap doesn't go on Addison's face.

Then Lily gently reminds me that it's "Tear free Momma Velvet!"

At that point she purposely puts her hand on my eyeball.

After I wipe my face clean Lily fills up the play cup and attacks her sisters soapy head.

After she's done she very carefully wipes Addison's face clean and makes sure she doesn't have any water left in her eyes.

She's so wonderful with her when she feels like it.

Then she has to go and show me how big she's really gotten and wash her own hair!

I love them so much :)

The Lord Loves Me and Wants Me to be Happy.

As many of you know I'm a photographer as well as a stay at home mother.  Occasionally I photograph Weddings, Engagements, Maternity, Newborn, Family, Senior Portraits, etc;.

It's been a great way to allow me to be home with my kids and help support the family still.

This last weekend I photographed two great friends wedding!  I've know Marissa since we were in gradeschool and Darren and I have attended the same church for around 10 years!  Needless to say I was super excited when they asked me to photograph the wedding.

The whole day came and went without one problem.  It was a fantastic, beautiful, and extremely fun wedding to be a part of.

When I got home I put all the photos on my external hard drive in hopes of editing a few of them that night and uploading them onto my Facebook page.  I have a lot of friends from the church who were chomping at the bit to see a couple of the photos.

3 minutes after loading ALL of the wedding photos onto the hard drive, it crashed.

Wouldn't start.

The computer wouldn't even recognize that it was plugged in.

This is where my life ended.

Not only was I now going to have to figure out how to tell my closest friends/neighbors that I'd lost every single photo from there wedding day but I'd also lost all of my family photos from the time that Lily was a newborn.

Thankfully, my Mother works with a wonderful man named Bill who spent half of his work day retreiving the erased photos of the wedding from my SD card!  I could have kissed him.

Without him I wouldn't have gems like this stored in my computer...

That being said I still need everyones prayers as I send out my damaged hard drive in hopes of retreiving all of my familys photos.

The purpose of this post is to also remind everyone to ALWAYS have more than one backup of your precious memories.

Wish us luck.

The sound that makes me want to _______________.

For the purpose of this post I'm going to assume that most of you have witnessed the masterpiece that is "Dumb & Dumber".

If you haven't, it stars Jim Carrey and and Jeff Daniels.  They're best friends who get into many shenanigans throughout the course of this classic.

If you haven't wasted an hour and a half of your life on this movie than you definitely should.

Anyway, I experienced a moment last week that reminded me of a portion of this movie.

The family headed to Target to pick up some necessities for the house.  Paul and I decided to load the girls into one of these carts:

The sole purpose of this cart is to create the most obnoxious sound you've ever heard.

I can't even figure out how to type this noise.

It's THAT bad.

Now just imagine our little family strolling through Target for 15 minutes.  The ENTIRE time this noise is being emitted from our cart.

The only time it stopped was when one of the girls would attack (i.e. pull hair, kick, smack, punch, yank, shove, steal, etc;) the other, wherein the "noise" would stop and shrieking would ensue.

The only thing that got them to finally stop was shoving crazy straws in there mouth.

Thus the crazy straws.

These carts are the devil.

I'd be surprised if Target ever let us back in the store.

I wouldn't blame them if they didn't.

I love my family.

Going through my photos from the past year, I've decided I don't have enough photos of all of us together.

It's a true dissapointment of mine that I haven't taken the time to get all of us together in one photo as often as possible.

So starting this week, I'll be trying to take 1 picture a week of all of us together.

I think it's important for the girls to grow up with photos of family doing things together!

So here goes.  Wish me well!

Who wears short shorts?!

Don't judge me.

Are these not the CUTEST diapers you've EVER seen?!

I know, I know, I know.

She's gonna hate me for this in 10 years, and you can't believe I spent money on diapers that resemble jeans, and those thighs are the cutest thighs on the face of the planet.

You don't have to tell me!

I guess while we're discussing reasons she'll hate me later in life...

Stop judging me!!!

Ugh, I know I said I'd never do this to my poor babies head.

Come ON though!

How can you not smile at how adorable my little babies "pony tail" is!

On a completely seperate and awesomely random note, my kid LOVES corn.

Notice the double fisting and huge smile.

Corn on forhead = Mom Dinner Win

Telling her she can't naw on the cob for countless hours

=

Melt down and corn EVERYWHERE

Here's to a night spent vacuuming.

Rojin Nicholas Ray Frazier ♥

One of my very best friends gave birth to her first baby on Friday.

He is the most beautiful baby boy I've ever laid eyes on.  He's got perfect skin, perfect fingers, perfect toes, perfect hair, etc;.

Obviously I could go on forever and ever and become a big weepy blob of emotions.

I am so happy for Kayla.  I think she's going to be an absolutely spectacular mother and Josh is going to be an amazing father.

Thank you for letting me spend some time with your new little family.  You all mean so much to me and I can't wait to watch your lovely family grow and learn and thrive :)

Enjoy every single moment.

Love you guys.

Poolside

A couple days ago we took the girls to Nani & Papa's for some pool time!

It was hot out and we were tired of being inside.

Addison did pretty well, she didn't wanna be more than a foot away from you at all times but other than that she loved it!

Lily was just a tad too short to touch the bottom so she spent most of her time trying to pull the bandaid off of her elbow and spider monkeying her way around the outside.

Hoping your family found a relaxing way to cool down!

Now if only the weather would cooperate again!

Festival!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking Lily to the Festival and Carnival in my hometown!

Our week vacation happened to encompass the weekend of the festival and Lily's mother was nice enough to give Paul the all day passes she had for all the carnival rides.  Lily really enjoyed the whole day and got to ride as many rides as she wanted!

We also happened to run into her friend Isabelle and her parents.  So the girls ran around and had a blast!

They rode airplanes together...

while Addison sat around in the shade with the obnoxious huge pink dolphin Lily had won.

Lily wanted to go on the rollercoaster so Isabelle stood in the shade with us and let her Dad mess with her stuffed animals.

Once Lily was done with the rollercoaster she asked to play the ducky game close by.

You pick a duck from the pool and based on the color on the ducks butt you get a prize.

She said she picked the biggest duck.

Isabelle picked the turtle sized duck butt.

Lily picked the monkey butt.  Go figure :)

The girls REALLY loved the maze at the carnival!  It consisted of mirrors and glass panels that you had to wind your way through.

I loved the maze as well.

It was hillarious to watch the girls run headfirst into the glass. Over and over and over again.

Once they were done running into glass plates they moved on to the "Crazy Bus".

Forgive me for saying this, but the "Crazy Bus" was more "Bus" and less "Crazy".

I'm assuming it was supposed to mimmick the much larger ride that launches you into the air and then plummets you to the ground.

The "Crazy Bus" was more like a leisurely sunday drive.

Isabelle had to leave after that so the girls hugged and demanded that I take a photo.

Seriously.

This is Lily's first time on one of the big kid rides!

The thing moved so fast and in so many different directions that I was only able to get this picture of her actually RIDING the ride.

She said she loved it, Daddy said he felt nauscious :)

We headed to the festival for dinner and snowcones and Lily jacked Addison's stroller.

She's so sneaky sometimes.

I don't think Addison minded though, she'd been in the stroller all day anyway.

Grandpa met up with us for dinner too!

He loves any opportunity to play with the grandbabies... that and Nachos.

After dinner we all headed back to the carnival to let Lily run off some of the sugar.

This is how Addison and I spent our day.

Hanging out, watching a bunch of people scream, finding any patch of shade available.

Addison and I headed back to the car after a while to cool it down and enjoy the air conditioning.

I took this photo that reminded me I'd taken a photo semi similar about one year ago...

Only she was much smaller, demanding, hungry and hairless :)

Anyway, we had a great day thanks to many people!

Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend as well.
