Squeaky Clean!

Scarlett had her very first real bath today!

We waited for Daddy to get home and then we filled up the baby tub and splashed around a bit.

Once she was in the water she relaxed and enjoyed.

Addison wanted to jump in and help too.

She was extra gentle and cute with her baby sister!

Scarlett eventually wasn't so fond of the bath anymore and let all of us know it!

But at least she smells all pretty now!

Happy Easter!

Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!

Our family is all cracked out on sugar.

That's how you know it was a success!

Pre-Easter Egg Hunt!

We took the girls to a huge easter egg hunt this year that is held at our favorite park.

Aside from huge hoards of children and some (sadly) dishonest parents the whole event turned out really good for the girls!

Addison only got 3 eggs, but loved all 3 immensely!

They had "chocolate Mama!!!"

Lily and I strategized on how she could get the most eggs possible and she came away with a full basket!

All in all it was a great practice hunt for tomorrow!

I think we'll have to leave the "Easter Bunny" out of tomorrow though...

Although he makes for a good chuckle.

Confusion...

My darling husband has done this now with BOTH of my babies.

I can only assume it's his way of making absolutely sure that our child is, in fact, hungry.

Step 1:

Hold hungry baby up to face.

Step 2:

Let baby root around trying to find food.

Step 3:

Let hungry baby find and violently suck on nose for 30 seconds.

Step 4:

Yell at wife to come feed the baby.

She's hungry and slightly pissed.

He gets this look a lot around here.

Introducing!

Baby Scarlett!

After 9 months of baking and waiting and gaining what I hoped would have been a 30lb baby, she's here!!!

All 9lbs 2oz, 20.5in of her!

After being told she was breech about 2 months ago and that due to her size she most likely wouldn't flip I signed up for a csection.

Of course the little turkey had to go and perform amazing acrobatic feets half an hour before heading into the O.R. and prove all the doctors wrong by flipping over.

She wouldn't be my child if she weren't stubborn!

Her biggest sister is excited to announce that they've got the same dimple!

Her littlest big sister is just plain excited to have her own baby to snuggle and love.

Most of all, Mommy and Daddy are excited to have our family be whole and complete in every way.

We're so excited to watch these 3 little ladies grow into beautiful women.

Our home is a finally finished.

Life is good.

p.s.

for those of you that may have been slightly worried about our parenting skillz...

This one came with instructions...

Thank the Lord!

Oh What a Difference...

I took a second today to just be amazed at how much my body has changed in the last 9 months.

I am truly impressed with the body in general, especially when it comes to child growing.

It's an intense amount of growth and expansion in a VERY small amount of time.

The photo on the left is the day I found out I was pregnant and the photo on the right is from today.

4 1/2 days away from giving birth.

I'm extremely excited to be back to that left photo.

This also got me thinking though about my little ones.

Which made me do this...

The photos on the left are from 9 months ago and the photos on the right are from today.

It's amazing the difference 9 little months can make!

Spring Sunshine (Finally!)

Woo Hoo!!!

I haven't posted in a while.

I'm also pregnant and giving birth in 6 days so I'm assuming you'll all forgive me.

My next post I'm sure will have 3 beautiful little girls featured in it, but for now I hope you'll all be ok with a couple photos of our outside chalk drawing adventures!
