Addisons Last Day of 2

Tomorrow morning Addison will waddle into my room to give me her morning snuggles and she'll be 3 years old.

Where has the time gone?!

She's getting so big it's ridiculous and I just don't know how we got here.

She was my little baby yesterday.

Literally... It feels like yesterday that I whispered "I love you" for the very first time into one of the sweetest little ears I've ever seen.

Her last day of 2 was full of fun day to day events.

I captured my favorites on Instagram throughout the day and I'll share them here as well.

On her last day of 2...

She woke me up to inform me that tomorrow she'd be "this many fingers old" tomorrow.

She sang at the top of her lungs in the van.

She lights up my world like nobody else!

She helped me grocery shop.

She gave me some of the best snuggles I've ever received.

She enjoyed some pre-birthday sunshine and her bubble machine.

She ate as much watermelon as she could fit in her belly.

Then she washed off all the watermelon that wouldn't fit all by her big girl self.

Now I'm off to snuggle her and let her stay up late.

I'm gonna squeeze every hour of two I can possibly get out of her.

A Princess For My Princess!

I had a friend show up today dressed like Cinderella to wish Addison a happy birthday!

Head to toe Disney princess.

It was so stinking cool!!!

Yes, that's THREE exclamation points.

Addison loved it and has been telling everyone that stands still long enough that THE Cinderella brought her birthday balloons.

Hali, you are amazing!

Thank you so much for making my little girls birthday one to remember!

Enjoy the video below too!

Ignore the dog...

He's afraid of balloons.

Oh yeah, and costumes.

Plus people.

Ugh.

The Zoo is a Crazy Place

Paul and I have made going to the zoo an art form.

If we aren't out of the house by 9:15 it's not happening.

If you show up at the zoo any later then 10am you won't be able to find parking and will have to worm your way through hoardes and hoardes of other peoples uncontrollable children.

It's my worst nightmare.

Besides drowning in a plane full of whales, but that's a completely different story.

Just for fun my Mother, Sister and I tested my theory by arriving with the girls to the zoo at 11:30.

No parking and THOUSANDS of munchkins.

We stayed for an hour and a half and decided that we'd come back another day.

We definitely made sure to make it to the ladies 3 favorite exhibits though.

So enjoy our photos and just know that there were 18 million other peoples kids stepping on my toes during most of this trip.

I'm telling you people, the only way to do the zoo is before 10am!

Sunset Across the Street

Whenever I see a good sunset coming on I drag my family across the street for some pictures.

There's a big grassy hill that gives the girls room to run around while I snap a couple pictures.

Daddy plays the part of 'child wrangler' and helps me get them to pay attention when I need it.

He's such a good Husband!

This evening was no exception.

As we pulled into our driveway I declared that we'd be walking across the street because the light was great, the girls looked great, and I wanted to.

So ppppth.

Enjoy our impromptu, 3 and a 1/2 minute, sunset session.

BAM! Photo Success.

We've been heading out on the nice weekends to play a little disc golf with the girls and friends!

I packed my camera along for the ride which doesn't normally happen considering it's huge and gets in the way of my awesome disc golf skillz.

Ha.

Anyway, I'm so glad I did because the little ladies were ALL about the posing yesterday!

Seriously.

Lily gives me around 1 good posed photo a year.

So enjoy my little hams!
