Up To Their Old Tricks

Remember, once upon a time ago, when this blog was just about these two hooligans?

Before this crazy little monster was initiated into the Harriot circus?

She brings a whole new level of crazy to our house.

Although, she has yet to perfect the language skillz her predecessors have mastered.

Case in point...

Lily took a spill coming out of the gym today and scraped up one elbow and one knee.

Her and Addison were racing.

Something I've told them multiple times NOT to do.

The following conversation happened in the van between the bloody 1st grader and her "know it all" little sister.

Lily: I fell and hurt myself Addison. I have an owie and it's very ouchy right now.
Just LOOK at all the blood!

Addison: I have an owie too Lily.

Lily: No you don't Addison. I fell down, not you.

Addison: Yes I do. It's on my finger. A alligator came up and went SNAP SNAP SNAP on it like a bad alligator and now I have a snappy alligator owie.

Lily: Addison. That's a lie. You're not even bleeding.

Addison: MOMMY! Lily is correcting me again! Tell her to stop it!

Turds.

Sharp Intake of Breath...

A few days ago I posted this photo to my personal Facebook account...

knowing full well that it would cause ladies in my 'Mommy Circle' to freak the crap out.

Low and behold...

I was right!

My little ladies have loved getting thrown around since they were old enough to support their fat little heads.

Paul has always been more then happy to oblige as well!

It must be the manic giggles that make it all worth it.

On saturday we were invited to attend a friends summer bbq with their family and they had a very large slip n' slide set up in the backyard!

So a new game began...

I like to call it bowling with babies.

You may commence your Mommy shrieks now.

You best believe she was shrieking with glee the whole time!

I have more worrisome things to be thinking about anyway.

Like who the heck taught her this pose?!

Oh sweet Lord in heaven.

We're doomed.

Logistics.

I love my baby.

Even if she doesn't understand about suction or gravity.

The cute factor makes up for it.

Friends at the Zoo

Two weeks ago I packed up the ladies and picked up some friends to head to the zoo for the morning.

It was a great day even though we were out numbered by children.

The kids had a blast and I got to spend the morning with two wonderful women and gossip like old hens.

What?

It happens.

Don't judge.

Most of the photos I got were of the backs of the kids heads.

I was just not as interesting as this sea otter apparently.

We trecked along the normal path which takes us by some HUGE sea lions.

This was about as close as Hayden got.

Two steps closer and she'd squeal and run back to her Mommy.

Addison, on the other hand, may as well have been blowing raspberrys on the glass.

Kid loves herself a sea lion.

Eli couldn't get over how big those darn things are.

Fun fact!

The Orangutangs dislike cameras and will turn around if they see one.

Fun Fact #2!

If you open up your purse and go through it next to the glass they'll come to the window to check out what's going on.

Creeper monkey much?

We parked the kiddos and ate some snacks.

Well, we ate snacks.

Scarlett apparently bathed in them.

While Eli planned out the route.

Addison doesn't liked being photographed while eating.

Scratch that.

Addison doesn't like being photographed anymore.

Too bad so sad for her, Mommy doesn't care.

Then there's Hayden...

Darling.

Only your mother is allowed to look at me with that face.

Knock it off.

That's it for the pictures.

There was a lot more day after this but I got distracted.

Oops!

Water Baby at Blue Lake!

We took the girls to Blue Lake today to splash around at the waterpark!

Addison, true to form, stood mostly around the edges and demanded that other people do what she was too scared to do on her own.

Scarlett on the other hand ran around like it was her first trip to Disneyland.

There was absolutely no stopping that baby!

Enjoy some of our photos from the day...

That little boy ignored her and didn't tell her she was cute.

Clearly she thinks that is unacceptable.
