I feel like so many articles exist dedicated to stupid lists about what people "shouldn't" post or "annoying" habits of Moms/Couples/Men/Millenials/etc;.
All of these sites have their positives and negatives.
Being able to stay connected and share information with family and friends that we otherwise wouldn't have the time or opportunity to connect with is an AMAZING plus for me.
I'm a busy Mama/Wife/Boss Lady and this affords me a way to stay in my friends lives and adventures.
It also keeps me sane most days when I'm feeling stressed with kids and life because of the very carefully selected groups I'm a part of.
If it doesn't bring me joy of some kind, I'm not following it.
I have enough opportunity in my life to see negativity that I refuse to include it in my "online" access!
I usually block the articles that tell me what I shouldn't post as well.
Wanna know why?
Cause I'm a smart woman, and if something or someone is causing me stress or annoyance I can place that distance myself.
Also, because almost every single article complains about the exact content that I post!
If I followed these articles advice I would never post about my kids, my husband, my amusing to me memes, inspirational quotes, etc;.
If my friends followed these posts I would never get to see wonderful videos of their kids milestones or even just their boogery wonderful faces.
No fluffy bunnies.
No celebrating their relationships.
No delicious food that I wanna steal the recipes for.
If I listened to these articles I wouldn't have 9 years worth of memories and photos and quotes and love for my girls to flip through whenever they want!
I've been printing out all of my posts for a couple years now through a company called Chatbooks for Instagram and another called My Social Book for Facebook!
So post whatever you want!
We do it for the likes and loves and for attention on days when maybe you just NEED some human interaction where otherwise you couldn't get it.
I also do it for the memories.
There's no way I could remember all of this stuff without documenting it as it happens!
I mean, how else is Addison supposed to remember all of those sweet fart jokes she made up when she was 3?
Plus, if people stop sharing photos of their adorable chubby faced babies, I quit.
Not sponsored cause I'm not that cool but can't stress enough how AWESOME these are!
