I've decided to share with you, this 19th day of October, a photo of my baby.
Bump.
Lump.
Whatever you'd like to refer to it as.
BUT FIRST!
A blast from the past... this is me at 14 weeks with Addison :)
Basically the only reason I'm showing you this picture (besides the obviously adorable 3 year old) is so that we may compare and contrast together.
Here we go...
THIS is me today!
Different child in mirror, different shirt on body, same bathroom, same camera.
Lets start with the obvious.
Last baby belly is currently sitting on my bathroom counter attempting to eat soap.
I'd call that pregnancy a success.
This shirt is much larger and more comfortable than the last black boring t-shirt.
Outfit success.
Bathroom looks the same.
Success?
Same camera as well, better quality picture though...
Photographer success!!!
My biggest success so far though (aside from the adorable 1 1/2 year old on the counter) has been that I have gained exactly 1 lb since finding out I was pregnant!
When I went in for my first prenatal appointment I had recently lost 16 lbs putting me at 1 lb lighter than I was when I got pregnant with Addison.
I discussed with my midwife the correct diet I should be on in regards to staying healthy for this pregnancy so that I would be able to have a possible natural delivery instead of the csection I ended up having with Addison. She told me that she'd be happy if I only gained 15 lbs from here to delivery.
At this point I literally laughed out loud.
I gained 40 lbs with Addison.
I was hoping for a 20 lb baby, but alas, my wishes did not come true.
SO!
If we compare Addison's pregnancy weight with THIS babies pregnancy weight I'm officially 7 lbs LIGHTER than I was with the Chunky Boo Bear.
GO ME!!!
This 15 lb thing might not be as hard as I thought it would be.
And would someone please remind me that I said that in 4 months when I'm demanding a twisty cone from Dairy Queen at midnight?
Please?!
