Rose Festival Parade!

Gummy gave us the opportunity to head to the Rose Festival Parade today!

We'd never been and neither had she so we all loaded up in the car and headed to the Red Lion for some parade viewing fun.

We found out that Addison is still a little too young to really enjoy the parade.

She threw some pretty big temper tantrums and didn't want to sit and watch most of it.

Thankfully the Red Lion had some activities for the younger kids to do and a concessions stand for all the invited guests!

She sat still for about 5 minutes and enjoyed the people watching.

She also enjoyed the balloons they had tied to each chair.

After 10 minutes of screaming though we gave up and headed for the bubbles and ring toss.

She did take a break from coloring with chalk to check out some big horsies!

Hey, at least Paul and I had a good time!

And it was totally worth it cause we got to see Jared.

Score!

Lots of Milestones!

This last week has been CRAZY busy for us!

Addison turned 2.

Paul turned 26.

This blog turned 1!

With the fantastic weather and all the birthday craziness blogging has escaped me.

This next week probably won't be any better because our family is preparing to head down to California for some family/friend/sun time!

Here's a couple of pictures from the last week.

Hope you enjoy them :)

(Lily likes to pinch butts.)

Your Last Day of 1...

Tomorrow my precious Addison will be 2.

1 year ago today she was still my little baby.

Just learning how to play.

To climb...

To slide...

To swim...

and say cheese.

She went to waterparks...

the beach...

trick or treating...

and had dance parties.

She fought epic battles...

and took on potty training.

She became a big sister...

She learned to put sentences together, like "No Mama, I don't want to", "What Mama, I'm busy" and "Mama! I pooped!".

But most of all she went and grew one year older.

One year wiser.

One year more beautiful than the very first day I held her in my arms.

Park Shenanigans

We found an awesome park within walking distance of our house!

WOOT!

Only slightly angry we didn't let her play.

Lily was swinging super high and yet only looks slightly terrified.

AND SHE'S OFF!!!

The kid ran everywhere.

This thing spun super fast and everytime she got on it she would declare that she "did not like it at all".

You'd think she wouldn't have ridden it 5 more times.

She is the master of getting big kids to do her bidding.

"OooOOOoooOOOooooooOooo"

She is such a ham!

"Look at what I can do!"

The real question here is "who's attacking who?".

Last but not least...

"She's not giving you the stink eye, that's just her face."
