That Feeling

I love summer.

It's amazing for so many reasons I can't even count.

As always though, the closer we get to Fall, school, sweaters, jeans, gloves, coats, pumpkins, and early nights, I start to count the days.

This is one of our last Fall outings from last year, when we bundled the girls up about an hour before sundown and headed out to throw some disc at our local park.

So excited!

Sometimes I Practice

I force my kids to pose for me sometimes.

SOMETIMES they act like they don't like it.

Scarlett didn't want to be left out.

Note the lone puddle stomper.

It's all she could find on such short notice.

In other news... I kinda want to do back to school portraits in this spot.

I just don't really wanna drag the girls old wooden desks all the way up the stairs.

Photographer problems.

Soccer Studs

Soccer camp is in full swing this week and both Lily and Addison are participating!

This will be Lily's 3rd year playing soccer and Addison's 1st and they are both very excited about getting out, playing, and making new friends!

Scarlett doesn't get to play yet, but next year she'll be old enough to do Mini's.

I may be a little excited to see her all dressed up with a bunch of other 4 year olds.

Wait... Scarlett is gonna be 4 next year.

Single tear.

Addison can't even stop the posing.

It's a necessity for her these days.

Paul got out with them last week and kicked the ball around while I sat back, took photos, and back seat coached.

I may have only annoyed the snot out of all of them a little.

Scarlett couldn't help but throw in her judgmental side mouth as well.

She got it from her Mama.

Lily practiced her kicks and continued to get better and better.

Addison ignored me for the most part.

Occasionally she'd give me this to work with. 

She's only slightly ridiculous sometimes.

Lily remained very focused and determined to practice till she was the best.

I mean, the kid already has those stellar soccer leg muscles going for her!

Addison ended our "practice" with a big 'ol pouty face, until she realized that dinner and s'mores were up next!

Until the games start in September the girls are loving the evening camp and impending team practices!

Yay for soccer season!
